In this introductory course you will learn a treatment protocol for a full outline of the body and being introduced to the power of touch. You will get to practice simple ways to center and focus your attention, and learn some basic anatomy so you know what you are working on. 

Shiatsu is based in Chinese medicine and you will learn some of the basics in Traditional Chinese Medicine such as the idea of meridians, or pathways of life energy throughout the body. The sequence that you learn is a perfect complement to a Reiki or massage practice and will benefit those who are not bodyworkers as well.  Best of all, you will get to give as well as receive shiatsu under the guidance of experienced instructors!
