APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICY

We have a 24 hr cancellation policy. Give us 24 hrs notice if you have to change, cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel within 24 hrs or do not show up for your scheduled appointment you will still be expected to pay 50% of the appointment fee, on or before your next visit.


LATENESS POLICY

Arrive at your appointment on time. If you are late, your session will be shorter. If you are more than 15 minutes late know that we may not be able to accommodate you. If we cannot accommodate you, it will be considered a missed appointment and you will be expected to pay 50% of your session fee.


PAYMENT OPTIONS

We accept cash, checks, PayPal and all major credit cards. You can pay in advance of your session or pay when you come in. We require a valid credit card to book your session, but you will not be charged until after your session.

PRACTITIONER AND CLIENT RIGHTS

Reiki, Massage and other bodywork sessions are given for the purpose of stress reduction and relaxation. Said sessions are not substitutes for medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment. Reiki, massage and bodywork practitioners do not diagnose conditions, prescribe, perform medical treatment, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. It is recommended that a client see a licensed physician, or licensed health care professional for any physical or psychological ailment they may have.

If a client is uncomfortable in any way during a massage, Reiki or bodywork session, they have the right to question their practitioner and/or request that the session be terminated. Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances made by the client will result in immediate termination of the session.


PRIVACY

Personal information will only be viewed by our team’s practitioner(s) and the clinic director; it will be kept strictly confidential unless the client gives written permission otherwise.

We will not share anyone’s personal information with third parties other than applications we use to provide better service to you. They will not contact you or solicit you. Below you will see which services we use and how we use them.

If you submit payments via Paypal or Square, please be aware that we cannot control their privacy actions. If privacy is an important concern for you, please check PayPal and Square’s policies and decide what is best for you.

If you request to be on our email list, or if you register as a new student, from time to time we will send you notices we think will interest Reiki practitioners, clients, and the community. If you don’t want to be on this list, or you wish to be removed, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email or send us a note. We use Constant Contact for our emails. Please check with their policies if you have any questions or concerns.

We use Acuity Scheduling for our online scheduling and forms. They are HIPPA compliant and will keep your information safe. If you have any concerns about their policies, please contact Acuity Scheduling for more information.

Your basic contact info will be stored in our Quick Books Online account for billing and records purposes. They have strict policies for privacy. If you have any questions about their policies, please contact them.

At any point you can ask to have your information removed from any of our applications or ask to have a copy of where your information is being stored. Please email us if you have any questions.
