Helaina Johnson

Helaina Johnson, Reiki/Massage Therapist, RMP, LMT Helaina was first introduced to touch healing when she was a child watching Ellen Burstyn heal with her hands in the movie Resurrection (1980). This had a powerful effect on her, and Helaina became passionate about the idea, but at that time was unaware of Reiki. Many years later Helaina was introduced to Reiki, and trained in the traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho style of Reiki at the Reiki School + Clinic. She has been using her hands for healing ever since (2004). Two years after becoming a Reiki Master Practitioner, Helaina graduated from Massage School (2006) and has been working in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Chair, and Prenatal Massage. Helaina also received a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from West Chester University in 1998, and studied American Sign Language at Community College of Philadelphia, 2000. Helaina has been working in the Deaf community for the past eight years and is fluent in American Sign Language.

Helaina credits her Reiki practice with helping her find her soul mate and creating the family she always hoped for. She thanks the Reiki school for the weekly Reiki, massage and Craniosacral therapy treatments she and her family received during the pregnancy and birth of their first child. He is a bright eyed Reiki Baby, and receives Reiki often. Helaina would love to bring Reiki and Massage to those who wouldn't normally be able to afford it. She believes that everyone has a right to feel what it's like to breathe in deeply and truly feel relaxed. In her spare time, Helaina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, photography, receiving bodywork, rock climbing and whenever she can, riding her bike. Contact Helaina

Says Terence, "The practice of Reiki is very close to my heart. When Kim first taught me the process of practicing Reiki, my wife was pregnant with our son, Dylan James. We all benefited greatly from the Reiki treatments; the healing energy helped to ease the discomforts of pregnancy and delivery. Reiki continues to be a blessing to our lives. It is an honor to be able to give back that love and support by being a part of this healing community. As a practitioner, I am excited to be able to offer professional Reiki sessions to all members of the life circle including plants, animals, cars, and homes. And of course people too."
